Fruitful Meeting with Deputy CEO of PTPTN.

It has come to our attention in the recent times that a lot of students have been having issues with PTPTN loans. Many youths have been blacklisted due to irregular payment and we had had many discussions with youths throughout Malaysia. We have looked into the hurdles they face in repayments and we have today successfully had a fruitful meeting with Deputy CEO of PTPTN pertaining to Malaysian students in particular Indian students and youths. 

Until Jan 31 this year, a total of 586,863 PTPTN borrowers had been blacklisted by the Immigration Department with outstanding amount totalling RM11.6 billion. A total of 312,068 borrowers had negotiated with PTPTN and started paying back their loans amounting to RM967.9 million.

I would like to personally thank Mr. Thiripurabavan Muniandy, Higher Education Bureau Chief for his initiative to arrange this meeting. We will be working with PTPTN very soon to assist our youths.
